Teeter Hang Ups

teeter hang ups inversion tableThe Teeter Hang Ups is a high end inversion table without the high end price tag. Thousands of back pain sufferers have found relief using the Teeter Hang Ups system simply by sticking to a daily routine of inverting their bodies to undo the toll that gravity is taking on their lower back. Using the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table takes just a few minutes a day and over time can make a world of difference in how your back pain feels in the morning when you wake up and throughout the day. I know because I have owned one for over two years and I hang on a regular basis.

What is the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table?

The Teeter Hang Ups table is basically an A-Frame base made from high strength tubular steel with small handles and a small bracket at the top of it. The second piece is the Teeter Hang Ups table which is ergonomically shaped to the human body so it’s very comfortable to lay down on and includes an adjustable lower piece that you stand on to adjust the ankle bindings downward to hold your ankles in place using the super soft, padded bindings. The table inserts into the bracket at the top of the A-frame very easily and once assembled, which takes only minutes, the Teeter Hang Ups folds together in one easy step for storing. The Teeter Hang Ups table is a strong and relatively light weight way to get to the level of inversion that is comfortable for you safely and easily.

How does the Teeter Hang Ups work?

The Teeter Hang Ups is very easy to use and does not require a second person to operate. To use it you simply step into the bindings, adjust the upper binding downward to the front of your ankle and lie back. As you start to raise your arms above your chest, your center of balance shifts upward and the Teeter Hang Ups table, and you will start to rotate backwards at a nice slow speed. To stop the rotation you just move your arms back towards your hips and the table will stop rotating backwards. If you lower your arms all the way to your hips, the Teeter Hang Ups will return you to your original position.

Studies have shown that the effects of inversion with Teeter Hang Ups for people that suffer lower back pain can be beneficial. The idea is that by reversing gravity, your spine is stretched taking the pinching pressure off of your spinal discs and off the nerves which are woven in and out of your spinal column. Taking this pressure off of your discs and ultimately those nerves can relieve your back pain when you use the Teeter Hang Ups on a daily basis in the morning and in the evening.

Why choose the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table?

My Teeter Hang Ups Experience.

I can testify to the ease in which I was able use the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table. It was so easy to assemble, even for someone like me that has a hard time with instructions sometimes. It’s such a stable piece that I feel very confident that I am held securely by my ankles which is no small feat because I weigh over 225 pounds and stand 6 feet 1 inch.

I like to hang on my Teeter Hang Ups once in the morning and once in the evening for about 10 minutes or so allowing my body to completely relax to let gravity do its thing, stretching my lower back muscles and spinal column. This relieves most of the discomfort I feel after a night of sleeping flat on my back and the hang at the end of the day relieves the compression effect on my lower spine after a long day of running my landlord business.

I did not feel the need to modify my Teeter Hang Ups in any way as the ankle bindings are more comfortable than other models that I have tested out and I’m sure they have improved on the design since I had ordered mine well over two years ago.
All in all, the Teeter Hang Ups is a great way to help relieve the pain I feel resulting from arthritis that has made a home in my lower back. When I do feel a muscular issue in my lower back, what I do is ice for the first 24 to 48 hours and SLOWLY get back to my twice daily routine on the Teeter Hang Ups and this tends to get me back in shape much quicker than rest alone, which usually leaves me stiff from laying around too long anyway.

A Comprehensive Teeter Hang Ups Review

teeter hang upsThe worst is how you feel first thing in the morning. What started as 8 hours of restless sleep rolling from side, to back to side because of that dull ache in your lower back is now the sensation of a knife stuck in your spine or even worse sharp pains in the muscles radiating out from your back. You have really two options take some pills to make the pain go away or try a natural solution like the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table to rehabilitate your lower back pain.

It doesn’t matter if it comes from age or an old sports injury or simply 500 pound squats (in my case) lower back pain just stinks. It can rule your life if you let it. I started feeling that nagging back pain late in college and with age it has only gotten worse. I wasn’t crazy about taking pills for the rest of my life so I did some research and purchased a Teeter Hang Ups inversion table to try to uncompress my spine and give my aching muscles a good stretch in hopes that I could get through this naturally. I was glad I did because the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table has really made a big difference over time, with regular use.

What is Teeter Hang Ups?

Teeter Hang Ups is a company that has been at the forefront of inversion technology for years. You won’t find a better and more importantly, COMFORTABLE way to invert yourself that with the Teeter Hang Ups line of products. They have boots and door way bars that you can use but the product that I like best is the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table. With this table you are able to safely invert your body as little or as much as you are comfortable with. Swinging back into a standing position is as easy as moving your arms back down to your side when at a moderate inversion. More aggressive inversions take little more than a push from the upside down position to get moving and then moving your arms toward your center of gravity (your hips).

How does the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table work?

First you step into the Teeter Hang Ups ankle bindings, which are padded and quite comfortable. You lower the front binding to your shin to your legs are kind of sandwiched between two padded, curved leg “holders”. You will then lie back against the board which is in an upright position and SLOWLY elevate your arms above your head. This elevation is what moves you from standing, to lying down and finally to the inverted position.

Once the Teeter Hang Ups table is inverted you will feel the stretch on your lower back and spine. Try to relax and allow the gravity to do the work.

The first few sessions on the Teeter Hang Ups table should be short so you don’t over stretch your lower back. It will no doubt take using the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table on a daily basis to start feeling the results in your lower back.

Does Teeter Hang Ups work?

I am not a medical doctor and cannot say that in every case the Teeter Hang Ups will cure you of your back pain. I can only speak from my own experience with the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table and I have been using mine for well over two years now and the results speak for themselves. I am a lot more flexible when I am using the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table than when I take a break from using it. The pain that I feel first thing in the morning is diminished when I use it on a daily basis in the morning and at the end of the day.

Another benefit from using the Teeter Hang Ups inversion table is how the oxygen rich blood rushing to your brain feels. I wipes away the morning cobwebs and is a great way to feel refreshed in the afternoon if you experience an afternoon energy crash. Once you are upright again and feel the stretch your brain feels more alert and awake than before you get on the Teeter Hang Ups.

Through my journey to back pain relief, I have tried several inversion tables. Just about every one made my ankles hurt because they binded my skin or were too lose and I had to flex to stay in the bindings. So make sure that when you visit the Teeter Hang Ups site for more information, that you go to the “official site” through the links I have provided – through my research I noticed a few Teeter Hang Ups look alikes. Although these tables will put you upside down, none do it with the ultimate comfort in your ankles and with the easy rotation and perfect balance that you get from Teeter Hang Ups.
